Ministry to the sick, lonely and shut-ins is of paramount concern in our Parish and it has been since the inception of the Parish in 1978.
Currently, Deacon Bill Cassidy is co-ordinating the regularity of the visits and the administration of the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist. In case of grave illness and danger of death, the Priest is always informed so that he may visit the patient. Remember, if a loved one or a neighbor is sick, old or confined to his/her home for a time, make sure to contact Sister and she will, personally, or through one of the other ministers, attend to the need immediately.
Don't say, "I hate to bother them because they are so busy". Keep in mind that visiting the sick, com-forting the lonely, praying with the elderly is the "business" that concerns the Priests, the Sisters and their associates. They are dedicated to these people and services.
You can also participate in this ministry to the sick through your thoughtfulness, interest and prayers, re-membering the words of Christ, Himself, "As long as you did it for one of the least of my brothers or sisters, you did it to Me".
