POM - Homebound & Healthcare Ministry

These volunteers are delegated by the Pastor to bring Holy Communion to those unable to attend Mass. It is a way of caring for those persons with Christ-like compassion by sharing His body in order that they may be strengthened for their journey through this life and to life everlasting.

Homebound & Healthcare Ministers visit the sick and take them Holy Communion.  This helps make them feel a part of our parish community.  Visits are conducted at your convenience, in private homes and/or healthcare facilities.  Anyone who has received training as a Minister of Holy Communion can receive additional training for this ministry.  If interested in serving within this ministry, contact Martha Mingel via email at [email protected] or by phone at (941) 697-4899 Ext. 7205 or completing the Volunteer Information Request Form below.
