CONFIRMATION

Confirmation, one of the three sacraments of initiation, unites the baptized more closely to the Church.  Strengthened by the gift of the Holy Spirit, the confirmed are called to live out more fully their baptismal mission of spreading the faith by word and deed.  Sacramental preparation classes help the Confirmation candidates to dig deeper into the mysteries of their faith while providing a comprehensive catechesis for the sacrament so that they might more readily live out this evangelical mission.

Confirmation for High School Students

Confirmation is a two-year program, usually taking place in 9th and 10th grade.  Both years consist of sacramental preparation classes.

In addition to the registration form, we will need an official copy of your child's baptism certificate with record of his/her first communion.

Adult Confirmation Preparation

Adults wishing to receive the sacrament of confirmation should contact the Director of Religious Education or contact the parish office.  Adult confirmation preparation is tailored to the catechetical needs of the candidates.  While class schedules will be modified to fit individual circumstances, usually classes start in October for the reception of Confirmation in the Spring.
